I'm an independent consultant based in Munich, working with product manufacturers across Europe at the point where safety and security meet.
Over years of consulting for automotive OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and autonomous-systems programs, I've delivered gap analyses, built safety and cybersecurity work products, prepared teams for assessments, and trained hundreds of engineers — across functional safety, product cybersecurity, and process improvement.
That background shapes how I approach the EU Cyber Resilience Act today: not as a legal exercise, but as an engineering problem. The companies that handle the CRA well are the ones that fold it into the development process they already run — and helping teams do exactly that is the core of my practice.
How I work
- Assessor-ready, not paper-heavy. Work products exist to support an argument, not to fill a checklist. I write for the assessor who will read them.
- One methodology across safety and security. Shared assumptions, cross-referenced analyses, no contradictions between your safety case and your cybersecurity documentation.
- Knowledge transfer built in. Every engagement leaves your team more capable than it found them — I'd rather train your engineers than make you dependent on me.
- Honest scoping. If a regulation doesn't apply to you, or a two-day workshop solves your problem, I'll say so.
